There are some people who will tell you that opposites attract. The story of Jennifer Brooks and Robert Green may very well prove that point.
The two first met in a small class at Damon J. Keith Elementary in Detroit, MI. Despite the fact that neither of them have any actual memories of each other that early, there is photographic evidence so it's probably true. Their paths diverged shortly after, as they grew and attended different schools, although the majority of their lives they lived around two blocks from each other. They couldn't stay away from each other too long as eventually their paths merged back together in their teenage years. One day they met (again) and became friends, and even though they still traveled on separate paths, they stayed close until finally they stopped circling each other and just attached to each other. Their experiences were different and those experiences made them different, but it's those differences that make them complement each other so well.
On August 24, 2013 in Auburn Hills, MI Jennifer and Robert will be getting married in a very small event in front of family. While they regret not being able to invite everybody in their lives that they would like, they are instead creating this experience in an effort to share this part of their lives with everybody.
